As the Korean MMO seeing massive success on PC There are those who wonder whether console porting is possible in Lost Ark's near future. In actual fact, the topic was mentioned during an interview by the Franchise Director Soomin Park. Although his response wasn't exactly clear it appears that console versions are a possibility.
British games journalist Sherif Saed recently interviewed Park on a range of topics, including publishing rights, the similarities among Lost Ark and Diablo 3, and why Lost Ark took so long to make it to the west. It is in connection with Diablo 3 and Diablo 3 comparisons that the question of console ports came up as well, with Saed noting that game's success on multiple platforms. Unfortunately, Park wasn't able to provide a definitive either or not answer to whether Lost Ark might arrive on consoles anytime soon. "If Lost Ark on consoles is something that fans actually desire," he told Saed, "then I think it's something both parties would consider!"
When he says "both parties," Park is presumablyLost Ark Gold for sale referring to Amazon and Smilegate who have ownership rights in the publishing of the game. He clarified the company's relationship in explaining the reasons Lost Ark isn't available in the Middle East or parts of Europe. Unlike previous Amazon Games titles such as New World, the company doesn't own Lost Ark. Instead, it's a partnership by Korean publishing company Smilegate RPG, who own the intellectual property rights. Park said that the contract does not grant Amazon the rights to publish Lost Ark globally, only in certain regions of Europe, Oceania, and the Americas. This makes it impossible to know when or if Lost Ark might arrive in new territories.
