Iron arrows drop often so it's almost free training. About about 40 to 50, train forRS gold a while at Hill Giants until 50. When you're 50, go back to the flesh crawlers that are in that south-east corner of the room. They can be found on the right side of the square, near the door closest to the wall. This can be done for both doors. (You will easily be able to get 75 Str/Range with flesh crawlers.)
If you're in the market for food visit world 1 where there are people who power fish and offer free salmon or trout. Magic: Study the mage dumbies until it stops you from doing so. You'll then have the magic level required for a few curses. Cast these curse spells on the Zamorak monk in the Varrock Castle, located just behind the steps.
After you've reached the magical level ( I believe it is 25) apply Curse for the Zamorak monk. When you have reached the magic level, you can also superheat (really fast xp, and you can break even if you create steel bars) and high-alch. Keep praying, and maintain your target at 40 (45 in the event that you achieve the Gravity 2h).
The glacors drop three sets of expensive boots - I believe they're 8M, 15M , and 22M. They're dropped, on average (from what I'm told - please correct me if I'm wrong) once every 500-1000 kills. The glacors aren't among the fastest things to eliminate (albeit they're not the slowest at all).
Lets say, then, Glacors drop approx. 15 million per 500 kills. I'm using the word "500" because there are other drops (notably shards) and this can help to make up for drops like shards.
The items dropped by Barrows can be seen, in the average, around 1:15 according to IIRC. These items range from 50K to 1.7M at present. There are many items that are close to the 1M mark and below but a few are higher than 1M. Therefore, let's assume 1M every 15 runs . This account for runes and the like and also. Barrows is a very low cost option and you'll have many runes of death or blood leftover if you're using Polypore (which you should).
Indeed you can make more money with Glacors. However, there are a couple of negatives. Glacors offer a significantly higher chance of death. Really, it's not that hard to keep yourself alive however Barrows can be viewed as a joke in the department of tongue.png The second reason is that if you are unlucky, you aren't making any money.
In Barrows there are a lot of items, and the average might be priced at 700k/piece or somethingsimilar, you're also raking in a fair portion of cash from runes. The last time I went on a barrows streak I got about 6M worth in barrows equipment. Then I checked my runes and found that they were 2.5M. So you are constantly making money, however with Glacors it's extremely difficult to make money until you can get a boot drop orbuy old school runescape gold enough fragments to build the Armadyl Battlestaff.
