Madden's offensive accomplice is Chamberlin, whose skills on the perimeter blends seamlessly with Madden's interior presence. Even though Chamberlin is struggling with shooting the ball at the start of the year mut coins, she averaged 15.9 scores per game last year, scoring 45% of her total shots and 72 triples in a 41% clip.
Her passing may be her greatest contribution she is not the only thing Blue River boasts in shooting it's lacking in the area of guard playmaking. Chamberlin's 3.2 assists per game average last year has increased to 4.3 per game to date this season. Furthermore, the defensive attention she garners helps Madden as well as the others on the team's shooting team excel.
"We've certainly gotten closer than when she first started. She was a little shy initially but now me and her are joking around. We've been friends on the court," Madden said. "My sophomore year, we did not have a (knockdown) shooter So the way they stopped us was to covering me in the post. That's the way we lost in semi-state. The presence of Maci out there helps significantly."
"It gives us an inside-out punch," Bales said. "Her running is fantastic ... she sees the floor very well and she's very humble." Halfcourt plays also run through Madden. Bales aim to make sure she gets the ball in the low area so she can score or kick-out shooters when defenses collapse. Madden has been doing lots of quick passes as a result that has resulted in an impressive career-high 2.5 assists for each game average so far.
"I am a fan of (the added the responsibility)," Madden said. "I realize that there are times when I'm able to get the team going which is why I think whenever we can achieve a quick start and I'm out there buy Mut 22 coins, it can aid in getting us motivated."
