EA took a vow to update its franchise mode just after the launch of Madden 21. The #FixMaddenFranchise hashtag that I started in 2020 and spread to various influencers within the game's community was believed to be instrumental in shifting the focus of EA. It was a trending hashtag at to No. 1 on Twitter . This prompted an response from Madden franchise's head of staff Sean Graddy.
EA has been consistently providing upgrades to the mode from in 2020, yet it doesn't have the depth or immersion of other iterations of the concept with other sports titles. Although it's true that the franchise model still isn't as great as many would wish however, it has been improved.
EA Sports has confirmed that it will continue to support and update Madden NFL's franchise Mode after reports indicated that the publisher would not be releasing any more updates for the game. In a press release to IGN, a spokesperson for EA Sports said more updates are coming as part of Madden NFL 22's live services approach.
"We are not averse to comment on rumors or speculation; however, we are committed to continuing to enhance Franchise as a feature of our Madden NFL 22 live-service as well as beyond it cheap mut coins," the spokesperson said. "This will include two new Franchise updates that we'll deliver within Madden NFL 22. We'll provide more details about the updates during the new year."
