I Was Checking Out Runescape As A Lurker

Where all can have a state to the RS gold game makers. In Runescape we can choose. To ability, to kill, or talk, or be a pure, or foruminate, fish for a little while, quest, or dancing for golden or a laugh. We have choice and voice. Lord of the Rings has been around for sixty years, it outlived its founder. It appears to be thriving. What about Runescape? Your pick.

Hello, lately I was checking out Runescape as a lurker on these forums and also the RSOF. Couple of things made me stop over a year and a half ago: Loss of curiosity when I went to play MMO's (Dragon Nest, etc), being occupied with research (still am) and feeling preoccupied with RS in general. I see the last appears to be the present sentiments of the majority of players now, but I digress.

Noticed the changes here and there, single new pursuit for F2P and Squeal Of Fortune (that caused quite a buzz back when it was released, rofl) as well as Titles. Personally I feel that the SoF is quite lame, seeing that the majority of the valuable stuff are for mems to be claimed, not like they would set an early statuette (worth 5m) within the rewards.

The question is, what is there to do today? Back when I played with I enjoyed the standard clan wars involving both clans from the Wildy until they created the Gamers' Grotto, but many clans now appear to be people that require active devotion or something. I strongly doubt that I will devote to being in a clan in a game such as Old school runescape gold, watching that better offerings such as Guild Wars two may become my primary match. I'd enjoy having the ability to just join one side of a clan for a few wars and log , but I am not sure whether that's possible.
