Since wilderness and free trade have been discussed, what will happen to things which were originally made to replace it? Speedy history lesson... GE- was created around a month before the infamous updates to substitute completely free trade. Ancient warriors gear - was initially made toRuneScape gold be similar to statuettes, beacuse the pvp drops were soo poor back thenthey left early warriors equipments a luck drop too so you had a opportunity to get them and make money (the market at the time was extremely low)
Statuettes- Introduced using the brand new bounty hunter system, these statuettes gave a hope for great loots and adequate money for pkers. Estimated potential- Introduced with the brand new bounty hunter system, it gave people a sense of their odds of great loot. Pvp worlds-Were made to substitute the old bounty hunter, originally had several worlds but afterward has been cut down to very few worlds. Hotspots- Areas where loot was'kinder' to the participant.
Clan Wars- Some of the very first minigames for f2p, replaced big wilderness conflicts for clans, use to be huge until jagex fail upgraded it. New Bounty Hunter- After many months of pvp, jagex made loot kinder and introduced a brand new means to pk. FFA arenas- Probably the most futile thing in Runescape, this update came in a package that destroyed clan wars forever, it managed to reduce the number of people there and make it a general more boring experience. Do not get me started on the dangerous arena.
Ask assist- Was created after we couldn't trade items to make into different kinds; e.g. smithing armour for low levels, air/law/etc rune running. Capped Trading- right ahead, will probably be rendered useless if the updates do go ahead. Gravestones- Were created so people couldnt commerce from deaths, and allow people regain things. DA championships - Was made to deliver back staking, fails poorly even after the upgrades. Revenants- Made to substitute pkers, people complained because they had been too strong, but they're pathetic. Proof that Jagex does eliminate content...
Old Bounty Hunter- Was among the first new methods of pking, a crater appeared from out of distance and occurred to crush all the wildy, older pking spots like the major bone, and little bone yard were ruined; # on your post if you read this way. Pvp worlds- They've reduced pvp worlds over time to just around two. DA championships - The old one was removed, but replaced by some shizzlety crap, which also fails equally as much. Things that got nullified after the upgrades. Player owned shops- Shop segments ofbuy OSRS gold forums, companies use to thrive money making for a whole lot of people. Pking- Self explanitory. Still possible just crap today. Trading hotspots- Varrock, Falador, all the first five worlds were always packed in areas for dealers, distinct areas different items.
