So exactly what does this mean?

I like this as it provides new players a reason to fill out the vacation events. I recall when I began runescape I didn't see a reason to go to the easter event, following all the ring was futile, and all the good training spots were almost empty all the sudden. If I understood that they might be somewhat helpful I would have gone there. Looking back, its a shame I did not as I believe the egg ring one of the best rewards. Acheron - I"m hoping this will be like a large scale Barbarian Village, at the simple fact that at Barb. Village folks help each other out. (fishers give to stoves, stoves give to fighters). I'm presuming it will be pretty big. It could have a port of entry and hunter outposts, which are the sole areas resistant in the freeze effect (frostbite sets in and hurts you, special clothes delay timer till it sets in.) . You can track big game like mammoths and saber tooths all around the continent and then take them down. Fishers could fish particular fish that are only in the cold northern waters. The clothing (made from mammoth fur) are degradeable, causing crafters to be somewhat important and maintain goods flowing. Lighting a flame and standing close to it could also reset the timer till frostbite. Special artic trees could be dotted across the continent. Penguin patrols are a constant menace. Special ores could also be found.

Eastern Lands - Likely just going to become another ordinary kingdom, but if we are lucky we will get some feudal japan system. Minigame based quests. Before NR came out, I thought this would never happen. So I kept a lot of ideas for it in my mind, thinking them ridiculous.
