I email this sender OSRS GP explaining that they found me out and I will not use Jagex services(and I really haven't ever planned to) of any kind or email them unless necessary. Jagex sent me a second email shortly after. Jagex (which I believe to be the real Jagex), tells me that the initial email was sent by a fake person who was hiding their Jagex address. They tried to phish for me, etc.

So, I'm just interested to know whether this scam is a common one. This is a fraud. Is anyone else getting emails threatening Jagex with lawsuits? It was odd to me that they'd email me in this manner without even telling me if my appeal for account was rejected. You may be able to observe what Jagex was like in 2012. Do they want to accuse me of giving my account away? They would be doing more harm than good.

My hypothesis is that Dungeoneering was a contributing factor to the decline in Runescape's quality. The 25th skill was supposed increase the number of players and generate more income. Dungeoneering did not increase Runescape players or bring in the required revenue.
