Generating business and establishing partnerships is part of everyday life, but sometimes, we end up spending time preparing our speech when we send presentation emails to clients.
I found it interesting to share this experience and, at the same time, help this cool initiative.

These days, I received an email from Victor Moya, responsible for the Startups Brazil initiative, presenting us with their proposal as follows:
"Hello Agenda, we are Startups Brazil, the largest database of startups and universities in Brazil.
TheStartups Brazilis a non-profit project aiming to help Startups in their development by linking university, technicians and professionals for these companies looking for a skilled labor. The portal already has a total of more than 700 Startups registered and relocated, which works as follows: the user enters the Startup map and enters his address and the service will direct you to the Startup closest to his home or university."
Do you have your speech well trained?
Creating company introduction emails for new customers is not easy.
But he managed to get my attention in no time, reading only the first few sentences.
And after that, I had read the entire email and answered it.Why?I'll explain my reasons below and you'll find out how to make an email presentation.
Top 5 items of email company keynote address
- #1.He described what he does in one sentence. It was quick, succinct and digestible (no complicated words).
- #two.He talked about us.When he puts "aim to help startups in their development", he is showing that what they do is for us (we are a startup, just to clarify).
- #3.Showed the result we can get.See that he explains in a very objective step-by-step, something that would be difficult to understand if put in another way:"the user enters the Startup map, puts his/her address and the service will forward you to the Startup closest to your home or university."
- #4.Presented a solution for something we need.Finding committed and prepared professionals is difficult. So a means that facilitates contact with university students is a very interesting solution.
- #5.Ended with a "call to action".At the end of his company presentation by email, he already expressed what he wanted and proposed ways to act:
"For the Startups Brazil project to work and for your company to have a friendly relationship with the site, I would like your help to publicize our project, making a post on the company's blog or in any section you prefer containing the link from our site and if you prefer you can just put the link to our site in the useful links section."
I only have one criticism to make: he didn't search who is behind the Scheduler to add in the email!
It would have much more impact if I received an email like this:"Hello Gustavo and Equip do Agenda, we are Startups Brazil, the largest database of Startups and universities in Brazil..
Want to make even more impact on your email company presentation?Add my name to the subject of the email and you'll get my attention pretty quickly.
About the Startups Brazil project
Letting them explain what theStartups Brazil initiativewould be:
"Our initiative seeks to draw attention to solving this problem of shortage of qualified young professionals and make them aware that working at a Startup can be essential for their career. We seek to provide university students with opportunities to intern at Startups, complementing their academic and educational background. Guaranteeing professional experience for a good career start, and we also offer several tips, so that your start in a startup is successful.
The initiative is very cool and from what I saw, there is a lot of material to prepare students for the job market, encouraging them to look for startups, instead of big companies.
I wish the initiative success and hope to hear a lot about the project!
