WoW TBC Classic Cooking Guide for New Players

In Burning Crusade, Cooking is not much different from that in the classics. This is a secondary skill that every player can learn, allowing them to create valuable statistical food for themselves and their friends.

The cooking recipes of Outland are mainly learned through tasks or purchased from suppliers. In the later stages of the expansion pack, daily cooking tasks will be opened to further broaden your cooking skills and get valuable rewards when you participate!

Reputation for cooking in the Burning Crusade classic

Technically, you don't need "any reputation". Two recipes, Recipe: Spore Spirit Snacks and Recipe: Clam Sticks, are sold by the Spore Army Quartermaster in Spore Fort in Zangar Marsh. You must at least be neutral to them before they can talk to you. However, these recipes are not pickup bound, so you can get them from friends who can get them from them, or buy them with gold at auction houses.

How to cook

Cooking requires fire, so you need to find it or make it. You can use Flint and Tinder and Simple Wood to build a campfire to build a basic campfire, or you can find a fixed fire, cooking table, or oven, such as a nearby torch, fireplace, or (Subject #223742). For this reason, many hotels have fireplaces or cooking stations.

Unlike classics, most TBC cooking recipes do not require ingredients purchased by suppliers. In fact, there is only one way: Recipe: Clam sticks need 1 soothing spice. (Ignore the tooltip telling you that it is not needed; this requirement was removed in patch 3.1, but still applies to TBC Classic).

Almost everything needed to cook in Outland comes from two sources: farmed meat (or spores in one case) and fish. The recipe is fairly average between these requirements, so learning to fish is highly recommended. The complete list of farming ingredients appears in the cooking recipe guide.

Cooking daily tasks in Shattrath

Rokk in Shattrath City provides cooking routines for TBC Classic Power Leveling 70 players, if your level is not high enough, there is WoW Classic TBC Boosting for Sale on the z2u website. He is located at /way 61.6, 14.8.

There are four possible tasks, all of which involve the upper zone. The order of the tasks provided is random.

Editor's note: The following tasks currently point to the Wowhead retail website, because once the Classic Burning Crusade beta reaches the 70-level limit, these tasks need to be discovered and uploaded through the Wowhead client. The task should be almost the same as the task in TBC.

Manalicious-Collect mana berries from the ecological dome of Netherstorm.
Revenge is Tasty-Kill Monstrous Kaliri for a Giant Kaliri Wing in Skettis, Terokkar, then combine with 3 Warp Burgers in the cooking pot and return.
Soul Soup-Use 4 roasted clefthoof oxen to cook soup in Nagrands ancestral land. /way 25.9, 59.4 There is a fire, but you can build a campfire by yourself and cook anywhere in the ancestral land to earn points.
Super Hot Stew-Kill an Abyssal Flame Envoy at Forge Camp Terror in Blade's Edge Mountains to use as a cooking fire, /way 28.6 76.0. Put 1 crispy snake and 2 portions of Mok'Nathal ribs in the pot and return.

You can save a lot of time and energy by farming, making and storing stacks of prefabricated items in advance. Prepare burgers, grilled clefthoof, crunchy snakes, and moknazar ribs in your bank and get ready to make these daily tasks go faster.

One of the main reasons for getting these tasks is that they are a source of multiple recipes, depending on the rewards you choose. After successfully completing the mission, you can choose fish bucket or meat box. Each will contain several kinds of fish or meat from Outland Age, which you can use as an ingredient, but it also has a chance to drop one of several recipes. There are several overlaps, but each has recipes that you can only get through that type:
