What killed it in closing fantasy for me personally was the bounded atmosphere in the world. The loading screen with entrances that are particular and wow classic gold exit portals kills the world feeling that is open that is that an MMORPG should possess. The invisible walls everywhere kills it for the lack of jumping, and me too. Feels static. I loved the Final Fantasy games growing up, I love the courses and bestiary and I truly wanted to enjoy FF14, but it feels like such a restricted and game compared to WoW.
Now I at least have a title for this. FF fails the"empty amount" test, in my own opinion. And by that I mean that when I loaded into an empty ass blank white stage with my WoW character, odds are I could still amuse myself for a fantastic period of time only with the movement mechanisms and any ability I might be able to spam around me (also the jump spamming naturally ). When I loaded my own FF personality into a sterile white point, I still would be hoping to encounter walls that are invisible, not be able to jump, and they would find a way to generate load screen seem. It's also why I do not play with The Section.
That is an way of putting it. I kid you not I spent 2 straight hours in my epic mount while getting carried away with a profound conversation in discord jumping around by the tree in the center of commerce district in circles in stormwind. I didn't even realize I do it until the conclusion of the conversation, people who watched me probably wondered what the hell I do leaping around for two hours. Could have been just as entertaining in an empty amount, movement only feels great compared to any other MMO.
In the end WoWs gameplay feels so smooth compared to other MMOs over the years. Tera, aion, guild wars, etc etc and I've played with and all felt somewhat clunky with rubber banding. I havent played with the FF series so I cant comment. I'd love to have another game similar to wow but refreshing as I've played with vanilla servers but nothing compares for me personally. Looking to legit TBC tho.
I think that it's hard to compare the two. They're just creatures. I jump back and forth (currently back on XIV following being on WOW Classic for months). It just depends upon what you need. I feel like there mores area for you create your own knowledge in WOW Classic vs FFXIV where it's more linear and narrative driven (and it is a damn good story). Not saying one is far better than another, only a different texture. 1 stark distinction is that the community, however. The WOW Classic community are inclined to be outspoken and toxic. After a while it's just obnoxious to be around although which adds a little spice.Tanks not caring about ranged DPS LoS or hunter deadzone. You can position the mobs in which you want, like I purchase it. Maybe try to keep them in a place your DPS can hit them? I feel as though deadzone is a hunter issue. Casters and everyone else can be in the face of enemies and be just fine, presuming stuff and no enemy cleave. I feel like I'm conditioned to obtain a sense for shifting to be from deadzone, or if it's claustrophobic and dangerous just melee as it NOTHING. Literally one of the only places I found deadzone to be a challenge is that the orc knockback halls in upper spire.
I do not care if Mages do it when they've Imp Blizzard and normally the harm from a Blizzard is not poor enough to pull danger, but I fucking despise WOW Classic hunters who Multishot when I'm 2 GCDs (Thunderclap + Demo Shout) into a pack tug. Especially when they wait for the mob earlier FDing because it means additional work for me personally to reposition to get. I've basically stopped bringing WOW Classic hunters because they're more trouble than they're worth 90 percent of buy wow gold classic the time. Where this is the case ive bailed on my fair share of groups. WOW Classic hunters or shamans world shocking before my 2nd automobile attack swing does my mind in. Peace then hearth.
