You know how annoying trading is at runescape, finding individuals to sell to/buy from, then getting them to actually observe that you would like to exchange, then finally negotiating a price and getting your items after about 15min of grueling noobery from the trade spammers who reside in theRS gold overcrowded banks of worlds 1 through 10. You know? It would be much easier if you merely centralized it to a single npc, call it an auctioneer.
You simply take your product to the auction house, and set a cost to let it sell at. You pay half the low alch worth of this item t place your item in the industry. You recieve an Auction ticket (think bank notice ) of your product stating that you offered it, then you wait. If your product is sold within 24 hours, you'll get a little notification saying your product has been sold, and you might go back to the auction house with your auction ticket to pick up your cash. In case your product is not sold within 24 hours, then you go back to the auction house with your auction ticket and then take your items back, or wash and repeat.
You'd proceed the auction house, and search to find the item you want. If they have numerous sales of that item, you may navigate through and find the ideal quantity and cost for you! Then you press purchase, and also a conformation screen would verify your purchase, and you get the item, and the auction house takes the cash. Each world would have 2 auction houses, 1 on f2p side and 1 on p2p side.
An anti-Spam filter, any items that low alch lower than 100 coins are not permitted in the house. Exceptions are: Runes, bones, holiday products, arrows... (add to the listing ) User friendly interface. No more trade spam! yay! More thoughts to come (add to the list)
Jagex understands about them. Everyone needs them. It's been in the back of everyone's head - so when they release it? Player Owned Shops was talked about in the past sometime on any forum that is related to runescape. It's been in the back of our minds and Jagex's minds. Therefore, why haven't they published player owned shops yet? Idk but here it goes...
Player Owned Shops: Ability: Have your own shop. You can have people that help clients who are employed in the shop the clerks. And then you have the acountant that will handle all the buisness's funds. If it is a little shop it is owner. When it's a president it is a larger store, but not enormous. When it's a firm wiith many shops and alot of workers he is called the CEO.
Player Owned Shops is not a skill. The Owner of the store, store or buisness, can create different stores. If it is a larger firm, they can have a maximum of 5 stores. It may only have one type of thing (I.E. Logs, Ores and pubs, runes etc.). That is so POS will not compete with NPC owned stores. You can begin off with a single shop. Players may get into the shop by using a POS portal site (In same town's as POH's). The customer can come in and use the option'Trade Store Owner' to see a list of things, just like in NPC stores.
Then they can pick purchase 5, 1, 10, or All. After they select that a note will soon appear in the conversation screen saying"Purchase petition delivered to owner" This is just if the owner does not want to sell all his inventory and want's to save some of his inventory, because they're low on the item. The owner will be able to set the prices (No more or less than GE costs ). Prices can be adjusted based onbuy RuneScape gold fluxuating GE costs. Now onto the workers.
