How canRS3 gold you understand this? Surely you shouldn't be so delusional to believe that your armchair knowledge is superior to Jagex, a company with hundreds of employees who would have certainly considered the possibility of launching on Steam + already done a extensive cost-profit analysis. This is a business that's gaining record profits while having a dwindling player base (RS3). Being a company doesn't mean that you're suddenly god when it comes to these choices. Hell, they didn't even contemplate OSRS that was be a success, and until gamers started complaining and petitioning about it.
I guess that they must not realized it had been even though people were begging since the release of EoC for it. Sure, they do not necessarily know best. However, as it stands, the arguments for launching RS3 on Steam, provided are not and foolish even completely valid. My point isn't that Jagex is all-knowing and could be counted on to make the right decisions. It is without contemplating the entire picture that a lot of players create radical suggestions.
RuneScape moving to monthly upgrades
Of course nearly all the opinions will be"haven't they already done that" but lets actually have a conversation. They're officially changing the anticipation from each Monday with something to it only being once a month. Seems like they are opting for the close of the month for a release point for all of their updates. They've done this previously, but its nice to know that upgrades are coming in the close of the month and they use the month to build hype for that update, sort of like how they declared Desperate Measures 20 days before its release.
As a whole I think this is a good thing, for both players and Jagex. We don't need to log in every Monday to understand that there is not something brand new and instead can focus on the final Monday of this month and from the time it comes about we will know what the update is. In all honesty I believe they should ramp down their focus on graphical fidelity, OSRS over anything should be a indication that people mostly care about the mechanisms of RuneScape. Visuals'd be taken by me available for expedited update schedule. I mean reuse and repurpose a few of the models or cartoons out of RuneScape's past and jery rig some high quality articles.
That's simply wrong, even OSRS is currently looking to bring the rest of their match up into the graphical fidelity of their latest content. Obviously, even their latest content still looks"old school" but that is the style they would like to adhere to. Most other MMOs don't drop huge updates monthly, plus they DEFINITELY don't fallOSRS Money weekly content.
