I'm not really in-touch using discord but I guess that is a place you are more likely to get a fast answer to a question. Reddit is more suited to long form discussions (especially as the official forums are basically dead). And venting as a result and talks about negative things are more likely to end up here than stations that are social contributing to making the sub-reddit looking depressing. When there was a up-tick in articles, things would look a lot better. The response around archaeology and the PVM hub was positive and quickly the subreddit needed a look. Hope you stick around and good to see you're enjoying OSRS gold.
Its a matter of expectations I think. The majority of us have been playing for 10+ years and remember a time when we got fresh content every week. And for a lot of us I'm certain that was a significant part of the excitement of RuneScape, logging in on update day and trying out something new, trying to become one of the very first to finish it. This was much Runescapes USP to get a lot of people back in the afternoon. The fact that Jagex are earning record profits only adds insult to injury. But RuneScape remains enjoyable, theres plenty to do, and I am sure everyone here is glad you're enjoying yourself.
Your post is insanely upvoted. Does that mean you have a opinion which is present in a large subset of those players? Or if you find negativity does this mean, you'll discover it. I will admit the subreddit is much more on the negative side, especially recently (even Jagex confessed they're slacking on communicating ), but that's because it is mostly dedicated players that really post on here. It pushes away some fresh gamers, but it is not the subreddit's job to recruit new players. It is to voice our opinions. Finding a clan makes it worthwhile.
A good deal of the people complaining that I have seen frequently stem from a place of wanting runescape 2107 gold to be greater. I'm happy to hear that you have enjoyed yourselves. I really do have a query, to not be negative, but to help me understand your perspective, so that I can keep it more in mind when helping new players. What's the most confusing/frustrating matter as new players? I am not OP, but I've been thinking about this some lately and wanted to throw my thoughts into the ring. I've been researching PvM. A lot of stuff and guides focus their content on players with older accounts.
