Then there's theNew Horizons Items dilemma of determining what is new? How long could we need to use spoilers? When exactly does brand new content stop being'new' and for whom? But we'd be required to use spoiler tags while northern hemisphere players wouldn't.
Maybe spoiler tags should be invited, but I really don't believe they should be a compulsory rule.
I would like to say I enjoy memorial posts. I enjoy creating a safe space for people to share their heart and despair with us. I believe that for somebody who doesn't know the rules to log on and be vulnerable to then get their post taken down or not accepted would result in further isolation and harm.
If you have to change anything, maybe you could add dash into memorial posts to serve as a cause warning to those who've unhealed hurt and want to jump past those posts.
I really don't think the answer would be to eliminate them entirely. People today come from a very vulnerable place submitting those and are trying to provide their heart to a safe community they hope will accept it. I believe it could be really detrimental to find an automatic delete in return.
Additionally seeing spoilers and time travel, I know think it's a remarkably difficult thing to moderate regarding seasonal events and items. I do however think that spoilers could be used for time locked items (such as the mario things ) which are hacked in prior to their release date. This would be taxing to medium since there's a fixed release date for the items along with the spoiler tag can be enforced in the afternoon of the upgrade to the day ofanimal crossing items new horizons item release. It's not something that bothers me personally but might be something to consider.
