Narratively, MyCareer remains NBA 2K MT the best sports story experience on the market and is packed with big-name stars such as Michael K. Williams, Djimon Hounsou, and Jesse Williams. The latter is far too intense at times, but it feels like a real creation, tells a compelling story without overdoing the melodrama, and provides some satisfying narrative beats. It is a little too gory in places, but that is a minor criticism within a sports play.
NBA 2K21 review -- the bubble bursts
The introduction of the Neighbourhood at 2K18 only served to accelerate this transition and advertising things like'The path to 99' abruptly took away a lot of the pleasure in 2K. Every match meant something but something was not for everyone. Remarkable career storylines and offline challenges within my group supposed 2K still had some thing for those casuals though and was part of the reason NBA 2K20 scored so well this season. It's a shame then Buy NBA 2K21 MT has left all that behind. 2K21 is almost entirely constructed for the internet competitive gamer, those who have 10 hours every day to grind out badges and build their rep. If you buy 2K solely to play offline the information is not good, unless you are pleased to buy loot boxes naturally.
