Its better to not be an Open world tomeseta pso2 tell the truth, remember how Maplestory great maps were hogged by High level players and AFK Vacuum Meso Farming bots, or what about Hackers vacuuming the mobs and the World Bosses to an unreachable area players can not access without no clip hacking of boundaries and that bot simply kill all of them in an instant and loot all of it, and market them to the Player Shop for exorbitant costs to get Meseta to sell RMT out of? Yeah that's gonna be a bad look for an open world MMO. I would not mind a Pawn, like Dragon's Dogma, that learns from you while you play together.
Im so happy about the outfits! And the manner that the games coexist with the block-like system! Im officially hyped now, thank you pso2 devs for clearing everything up! Perhaps not the biggest fan of how there appears to be two completely distinct body meshes for fashion, and it cannot be mixed and matched. No matter really happy with how this is playing out. Maybe because of how New Genesis's Physique Character is likely having extra details like Skin Lustre and Moving Finger animations that cannot be moved over to PSO2 base game, The only desire I had is that one daythey would patch every style to be mix and mash possible, like for instance, using a CAST arm in NGS while the other components are PSO2 parts to maintain the fingers moving .
Yeah it definitely has to do with basically distinct body projection on the new outfits, and not enough resources (time and money) to upgrade rigs on present outfits. Considering everything Sega is performing in the graphics overhaul, there is no way this limitation would be set up if it had been an easy fix. And there a quite a great deal of outfits, particularly on JP side. I really hope they just slowly update clothing over time especially the exclusive ones out of the product codes and collabs. I would not mind if they make them in a separate NGS scratch if it is going to incentivize them to do this. This is actually wonderful. I really do hope though that they slowly upgrade the aged PSO2 Outfits and Layered wears to allow finger movement farther down the road. I can understand them do this right away given all the NEW NGS stuff they would want to market, but I am hoping I do not have to double down on say,"Classic" Exagia Arms and"NGS" Exagia Arms, or things like"Classic" Duskwake Regalia set and an"NGS" Duskwake Regalia set only to have moving fingers.
Sounds like a perfect opportunity for them....to sell them as Scratch items and call them the"GVS" versions or something. Yeah, I fully expect them to go this route. I have worked in the industry previously and rigging palms up isn't hard work, the issue is how many costume items would need to be altered with no financial justification. Plus giving folks fully working things with all the advantages (on what is essentially a brand new sport ) could deincentivise players buying the"new" stuff. Yeah. However, with recolors and sell them as new rather than giving us the capability tocheap Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta recolor them freely. And then the ones that you could recolor prices buying scratch things for a shade overhaul.
