Diablo II: Resurrected Plagued by Login Problems, Some Players Demand Refunds For the past six days D2R Items, Diablo II: Resurrected players from Asia, the United States, Asia, and the United Kingdom have experienced intermittent issues while trying to sign into the servers online of the game. Now, some are taking online social platforms to request refunds.
According to Blizzard's support for customers Twitter account, the outages could be caused by an issue that is affecting server authentication for the game which could cause players experiencing "failed" or "slow" login attempts.These server issues first started to manifest after Blizzard patched games for the Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch versions of the game on the 6th of October.
The patch seemed to be regular fare fixing issues such as player profiles not having the ability to share names to online characters that they created and users not being notified when they joined a game that was linked to their Xbox Live accounts. A fix was made to ensure that players are no longer prohibited from creating a game in their area after joining a game in a different region.
Blizzard's Twitter account for customer support has published numerous updates letting players know that it is aware of the issues players are experiencing, and of the team's efforts at implementing changes.
The account has frequently tweeted the message "Today's gaming and login creation issues have been resolved," but these maintenance efforts do not seem to fix the issue.
Players have taken to both Twitter as well as Reddit to talk about the problems they've faced while attempting for Diablo II: Resurrected.
